AKAIから発表された「MPC Renaissance」は、Native Instrumentの「MASCHINE」同様、PCとの親和性を高めたDAWユーザー必須のアイテム。
主な特徴は、以下の４つではないでしょうか。
- オーディオ、MIDIインターフェース
- MPC3000,MPC60のサウンド特性をシミュレートしたヴィンテージモード
- 専用ソフト
- 6GBのサウンドライブラリー
特にオーディオ、MIDIインターフェースはNIの「MASCHINE」にはない機能なので、この辺りの機能とAKAI伝統の操作性が注目ポイントだと思います。
